Learn about Classic VW Arrivals

This is a bit about us

A simply lovely 1971 Classic Pepper White VW Camper Van. Formally beige in colour up till recent times (July 2017), when Classic VW Arrivals was created by Gareth Thomas, based in Bishops Stortford. He transformed the camper into a professional business for all Camper Van lovers and businesses to enjoy.

I am now delighted to offer this fantastic service in Cheshire having acquired the business. I offer a professional chauffeured wedding, private, prom, event, promotional and corporate VW Camper Van car hire.

On your special day or event the van will be professionally driven by myself or one of my trained staff, we will be well dressed to suit the wedding or event theme and we always go that extra mile to please our clients. Not all events are the same and a bespoke service for you is very welcomed to be discussed.

Please feel free to get in touch to run through your exact requirements and I will work with you to custom build your VW Camper Van Hire experience. Can’t wait to hear from you!!

How it all started

Purchased June 2017, as per first image our tiered looking 1971 Bay Window Camper “Early Bay” formally beige in colour.

Decision was made to carry out a full Restoration between July ~ October 2017

We contacted a good friend, Chris from CG Bodyworx, Harlow to carry out the works.

Chris completed the works on time and did a fantastic job, re-spraying our camper in Pearlescent Diamond White, with classy white bumpers and chrome wing mirrors.

The Interior was upgraded to a lovely cream & brown with a top of the range Pioneer Sound System, cool LED lighting, drop down TV, Boutique Decorations and a classy Champagne Bucket for ice cold drinks.

Having been through a complete restoration the VW Camper Van is now available for hire for all types of Weddings, Parties, Events & Private Hire.

“Once you travelled in a classic VW, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.”
